You can schedule rides in advance for your daily classes, extracurricular activities, or any other school-related needs. Additionally, Roam provides real-time GPS tracking so you can monitor your ride's progress and estimated arrival time.
When it comes to payments, Roam ensures a seamless experience with Apple Pay, allowing you to complete transactions quickly and securely with just a tap. Roam also maintains transparency with its pricing, with no hidden fees. The service is designed to be more than 50% cheaper than other ride-sharing options like Uber and Lyft, making it an affordable choice for students.
If you're interested in becoming a driver for Roam, students can add you. The process includes straightforward verification to ensure the safety and reliability of all drivers. Drivers can be fellow students or trusted parents/siblings from your community. Once verified, you can start accepting rides and earning money.
If you lose an item during your ride, you can report it through the app. Roam will assist in recovering lost items by contacting the driver and arranging a return. Roam is specifically tailored to the student community, offering unique advantages over other ride-sharing services. In case of any issues with your ride or driver, you can report them through the app, and Roam's support team will handle complaints or concerns promptly. Additionally, if your driver cancels at the last minute, Roam will notify you immediately and help you find an alternative ride as quickly as possible.
